“Before your Groupon offer spurred me to action, I had been thinking of scanning our slides myself. A friend did it with his family photos, so I knew it was possible. He sent me a digital image of slide he had scanned of his wife and me in 1968; I had essentially the same image in my slides, but my digital image that you scanned is much superior in terms of color and contrast.
