My favorite summer vacation was when I went to the Elephant Rescue Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The woman who started the park did so in an effort to save abused and neglected elephants, as well as dogs and cats. She’s an inspiration as to the power of what one person could do to change the world. The elephant even gave me a kiss with his trunk on my cheek!

The best summer vacation that I went to Lake Tahoe with my family. We always hit the casinos which had something for everyone. I used to play lots of games to get tickets which I traded for nice little gifts for my friends. Also, I got really good at the Simpsons arcade game and made it to the end once haha.
Having had 66 summers, it’s hard to pick my fav one. It could very well be this summer since I did nothing but relax, read a book, catch up on “New Yorkers” I didn’t have time to read before, go shellfishing & take long baths. Past summers traveling around Europe & Mexico were fun but I was always on the go & sometimes doing nothing sounds like a great summer so I will vote for this summer.
